Rohit Kapur, PhD

Rohit Kapur is a leader in the semiconductor industry in Electronic Design Automation. Rohit is an IEEE Fellow for his contributions to IC Testing. He has published over 100 reviewed papers, has about 50 US patents and is the author of a book. Rohit has served in many leadership roles in the engineering community. He has served on the board of the IEEE Computer Society, he is on the publications board of the flagship magazine Computer, and has been leading all the standardization activities for IEEE in the area of IC testing for 12 years. Rohit is an active member on many program committees of conferences held across the globe.

Rohit spent most of his career at IBM, Synopsys and Cadence. As a Fellow at Synopsys he invented and drove the development of future products in IC testing that generated 20M in revenue. Rohit has managed remote development in India without any local management.  At IBM, Rohit received a prestigious Outstanding Innovation Award. At Cadence, Rohit guides the team to develop industry competitive technology and helps with key customer engagements in a business development role.
