Dr. Rajat S. Sanyal currently serves as a Cardiologist at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center. Before that he was the Chief of Cardiology at Phelps Memorial Hospital, Sleepy Hollow, New York and prior to that, an Assistant Clinical Professor of Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY. Dr. Sanyal completed his residency in internal medicine from Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, VA in 1996 and fellowship in cardiology from New York Medical College, Westchester County Medical Center, Valhalla, NY in 1998. Dr. Sanyal has published his clinical research findings extensively in leading cardiology society meetings and peer-reviewed journals and held many prestigious professional society memberships and leadership positions, including serving as the President of American Association of Cardiologists of Indian Origin (AACIO) from 2006-2008. He received his initial medical training in Kolkata, India before migrating to U.S.A in 1989.
