Dr. Dilip Kumar is a Consultant Intervention Cardiologist & Electrophysiologist and Chief Academic Co-Ordinator at Medica institute of cardiac Sciences, Kolkata. He is an MD from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, DM (Cardiology) from IPGMER, Kolkata. He is a Fellow of Royal College of Physicians from Glasgow, Fellow of heart rhythm society, USA, Fellow of Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions and Fellow of European Society of Cardiology. He is an International board of heart rhythm examiners (IBHRE) Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS, HRS, USA). He Possess a professional experience of 20 years as a Cardiologist, in highly reputed and established medical centers.

Dr.Dilip Kumar as an Interventional Cardiologist is extremely rich in performing complex coronary and peripheral interventional procedures (Angioplasty). He has one of the largest experience in the country in acemaker and intracardiac electronic device implantations.

Dr.Dilip Kumar happens to be the Principal Investigator in several Trials & research
work. He has numerous Research & Publications as First Author in Accomplished
Journals/Articles related to Cardiology and has done many procedures for the first time in Eastern India and has published many innovative techniques. He is also & excellent Presenter with appreciated deliberations made in National & International forums of Cardiology.
